VI. Dissertation/Thesis working title and topic

“Military Rule and Democracy in Greece and Turkey” In this dissertation I compare and contrast the varying types of regimes and their consolidation in the histories of Greece and Turkey since their independence. I also look at the civil-military relations within both countries.
