MGSA ADMINISTRATION
Under its constitution, MGSA is governed by an elected eighteen-member executive
board which, in turn elects the Association's officers. In the selection of
candidates every effort is made to provide representation for the principal
academic fields active in the Association as well as geographic distribution in
the United States.

AFFILIATIONS
In order to promote access to information about activities of possible interest
to its members and to provide for jointly sponsored meetings focusing on shared
themes, the MGSA has become affiliated with other professional organizations.
Currently, these include: the Modern Language Association of America, the
American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages the American Historical
Association, the American Philological Association, the American Association for
the Advancement of Slavic Studies, the Canadian Academic Institute in Athens, and the International Studies Association.
